This "X7" electric scooter is a supremely portable vehicle that weighs less than 23 lbs.; the steering column folds down (shortening "X7's" length by three inches, to 34" long) so the "X7" can be conveniently carried onto a commuter train or stowed in a locker or a car trunk. A small, ultra-efficient Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) rechargeable battery powers the clean, quiet 24V motor. Purchase includes a plug-in charger. The unassisted top speed of 10 mph, and the cruising range of 5 miles, will vary with factors such as average speed, terrain, wind, kick assistance and rider weight.
