| A Beast of a driver with a killer sting. This is by far the largest driver the Golfsmith R&D team has ever created. 500cc of raw power designed to give the most potential distance of any driver ever created. The super-deep 58mm face features a special cup face construction to keep the welding line away from the face. By moving the weld line away from the face, more of the face can flex at impact increasing the clubhead s coefficient of resitution. The premium-grade 10-2-3 beta titanium used for the face is forged to maximize its superior strength and support the massive face area at impact. Although extremely large, the new Stinger 500 maintains a very symmetrical shape and does not have the grapefruit-on-a-stick look of many large heads. The top features slight steps to aid in both durability and alignment. The metallic black top shell is accented nicely with a mirror-polish and glass bead blasting around the perimeter to give the head a modern, high-tech look.
