| HI-COR Iron heads New Hi-COR iron heads appeal to a wide variety of handicap levels. The irons feature very pleasing shapes with a rounded toe and thick, rounded toplines that provide a confidence-inspiring set up at address. The medium-oversize design with progressive offset hosels further enhance the address view of the irons. By CNC milling the cavity, precise face thicknessess can be controlled to position weight exactly where it is needed most for each head number in the set. Slightly wider than standard sole widths are created by taking the saved mass from the upper cavity and re-positioning it low in the cavity and behind the impact zone. This yields a super-solid feel at impact. The wider soles also create a deep cavity with remarkable perimeter weighting - an ideal scenario for generating enhanced forgiveness on off-center hits. In the long irons, the island of mass directly behind the impact area is concentrated lower in the cavity and slightly higher in the short irons to control trajectory throughout the set. Hi-COR irons are finished with a brilliant crystal-mirror polish and a matching mirror cavity medallion. Silver cavity surface is milled in intricate circular patterns and trimmed with a metal wood set matching, metallic-blue paint. |
