| Cast in ultra hard 15-5 stainless steel, the shallow face of the Rough Rider design imparts greater playability by lowering the clubhead s center of gravity at impact well below that of conventional metal woods. This results in a higher launch angle and generates greater backspin and less sidespin on the ball. The average face height of a No. 3 metal wood is approximately 36mm for stainless wood designs and 38mm for titanium models. At just 29mm, the Rough Rider s low-profile design creates a center of gravity that is lower than even those metal woods with larger soles or heavier metal sole inserts. XPC3 Rough Rider metal wood heads feature the same XPC3 styling to complement the XPC3 drivers and irons in seven ultra-playable lofts 9.5, 11, 13, 16, 19, 22 and 25 degrees. |
