| Callaway Hawk Eye VFT Pro Series Graphite Callaway Golf s hot-faced technology creates their most forgiving metal wood design combined with exceptional distance for explosive power off the tee. Patented Variable Face Thickness Technology means the face changes from thicker in the center to ultra-thin around the edges. This increases the ball speed off the clubface without increasing clubhead speed, moving it as close as possible to the USGA limit. Expanded head volume combined with a large, deeper face increases size of effective hitting area and ball speed resulting in higher rebound speed. This enhances the forgiveness and stability of off-center hits, which results in potentially longer, straighter shots. High-density molten metal injected into an internal weight pocket pinpoints the position of the center of gravity low and deep in each club. The result is a flatter, more penetrating trajectory with the drivers, and more consistent distance control and accuracy with the fairway woods. The new shaft sleeve decreases stress on the shaft, especially on miss hits, and provides for lighter, high-performance shaft design flexibility. Conforms with USGA rules. |
